The CMHA Articulating Concrete Block Design Spreadsheet is a spreadsheet-based calculator tool that can design ACBs by the hydraulic stability method, the shear and velocity method for channels or overtopping, and filter design for ACB systems. Calculations can be performed for any unit configuration, flow velocity, and project conditions. To help designers also compare against riprap a simple riprap design sheet is provided.
The spreadsheet is based on the methodology contained in the CMHA Design Manual for Articulating Concrete Block (ACB) Revetment Systems. Access the Design Manual here
