The Trinity Knot Project

Objectives

The homeowners wanted to transform their 5,500 sf backyard into a multi-functional space to enjoy numerous activities while taking in the breathtaking view of the waterfront property. The clients wanted to include the Trinity Knot in the design because it held a spiritual meaning for the couple and their family.

Solutions

The installer used several paver styles and colors to differentiate the spaces in the backyard including the pool and fire pit areas. Royal Masonry used smooth XL Sandstone lite pavers, with a Mocha ribbon to make the Trinity Knot pop. All the colors and paver styles used were hand selected to help each area in the backyard flow to the next space.

Results

The homeowners thoroughly enjoy being outdoors during the summer months. They spend their evenings swimming in their marina-facing pool and roasting s’mores in their cozy firepit above the water. To have a reinvented outdoor space blew them away. The couple was particularly ecstatic with how the Trinity Knot turned out as it holds a special significance to them and to see that incorporated so beautifully in their backyard oasis made the transformation even more impactful.
