Get ready for the EPG Spring Workshop in Boston, hosted by Ideal Block and Jandris Block! From April 29 – May 1, this dynamic event offers 1.5 days of team-building activities, exclusive off-site tours, networking opportunities, and engaging sessions with special guest speakers.

- 1:30 – 2:30 pm: Workshop Session: Shaping the Future of Masonry: Insights & Engagement Opportunities
Speaker: Heidi Jandris of Jandris Block - 2:30 pm: Break
- 3:00 – 5:00 pm: Educational/hands-on activity with PaveTool
- Experience hands-on learning at its best with this interactive session led by PaveTool. This dynamic session features four interactive stations, where attendees can test industry-leading tools and techniques—from hand tools to advanced paving machinery. Expert-led demonstrations kick off the experience with a 30-40 minute presentation, followed by hands-on comparisons of manual vs. tool-assisted methods. Designed for collaboration and immersion, participants will rotate through four key stations: paver prep, paver laying, wall prep, and wall laying—gaining practical skills and real-world experience.

Amanda Hennessey, MFA – Author, Founder & Coach
Amanda, author of Your Guide to Public Speaking, is the founder of Boston Public Speaking and San Diego Public Speaking and co-founder of San Diego Acting Classes. She helps professionals speak with confidence and ease, transforming public speaking from a source of stress into an exciting opportunity for impact. Through corporate workshops and one-on-one coaching, Amanda has worked with entrepreneurs, executives, scientists, doctors, lawyers, artists, and even a mountaineer who completed the Explorer’s Grand Slam. She also coaches cast members of Cook’s Country and America’s Test Kitchen on PBS and has clients featured on The Today Show. Amanda has led workshops for organizations like UBS, Boston Children’s Hospital, and MIT, and she hosts the Building Confidence Podcast.


Heidi Jandris
Heidi Jandris of Jandris Block will provide an overview of the national programs funded by the Concrete Masonry Check-Off Board and how these initiatives collaborate with regional programs and Regional Advisory Committees (RACs). She will also share key takeaways from recent CMHA masonry committee meetings and encourage an open discussion on the importance of EPG member involvement in both organizations. This session offers valuable insights into industry efforts and opportunities to engage in shaping the future of masonry.
