In addition to the important role Foundation research plays in providing a reliable basis for the segmental pavement industry’s technical guidance, it serves to inform our recommended best practices, technical publications, and a wealth of CMHA educational offerings. To date the ICPI Foundation has provided over $935,000 dollars in funding for segmental concrete pavement education projects.
RECENT PROJECTS
Job Task Analysis
Supported by the ICPI Foundation, a Job Task Analysis for both Interlocking Concrete Pavement and Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement have been completed by CMHA. Both elements form the foundation of their respective CMHA Contractor Courses and Certification. Eventually this can lead to the development and definition of a skilled trade.
