Objectives
Wallis & Baker is a modern multi-family housing complex in Grapevine, TX. The management team wanted to create a unique and visually striking 3D design at the plaza entrance and on the sidewalks to guide visitors and residents around the complex.
Solutions
The custom hardscape designed by SMR Landscape is an innovative project that blends numerous concrete pavers to bring Wallis and Baker’s vision to life. One of the striking features of this project is the illusion of 3D boxes using assorted sizes of grey pavers to create a visual effect that gives the impression of depth and texture.
Results
The Wallis and Baker project seamlessly blends form and function. In addition to the plaza entrance, the connecting sidewalks were carefully planned and constructed to create a sense of continuity and cohesion throughout the complex.
