Objectives
The Hunters Creek outdoor living area is a designated space designed to provide residents a fun and relaxing place to enjoy the great outdoors. One of the primary objectives of the outdoor living area was to create a perfect space for entertaining—one that stood out from the pool and lawn areas.
Solutions
The installer used a herringbone layout with three paver colors to create a striking 3D pattern. Moduline Graphite, Linen and Suede pavers pop against the tan building exterior. The linear lines of the steps draw residents into the space and directional patterning guides them to each of the three seating areas. All the walkways and steps to the sitting areas are well-defined and easy to navigate. The smooth finish of the pavers ensures that the surface is safe and comfortable for walking and lounging.
Results
Overall, the hardscape of the Hunters Creek outdoor living area is a true testament to the power of thoughtful design. Combining classic patterns and modern finishes with attention to detail, the designers created a visually stunning and multi-functional space for residents to enjoy.
